Luke Joyce - Retro Trading Card

This illustration was a retro trading card design I created of former Accrington Stanley captain Luke Joyce.

Using Adobe Illustrator, I started off by creating the basic shapes and colours of each area, followed by the outline. I then added the detail to the face and the various shadows. I finished off the illustration by adding the player's name and squad number to the background, before adding a faint crumpled paper texture.
